What is tokenización?

Spanish regulatory framework

The 2023 reform of the Securities Market Law granted full legal validity to the representation of financial instruments on blockchain, equating tokenization with traditional methods.

The key figure is the ERIR, which was first authorized by Ursus-3 Capital, in collaboration with Onyze and Token City. This entity guarantees the immutability of issues and identifies token holders.

In this pioneering process, the notary's office in Barcelona Cristina Requena formalized the first public deed for the issuance of tokenized bonds in Spain, demonstrating that the notarial sector supports these financial innovations.

Secure investment process

Perspectivas futuras

Tokenization represents an emerging channel with global projection. The passage of the MiCA is shaping up to be a catalyst for large traditional financial institutions.

Juan Jurado Baranda, of Ursus-3 Capital, stresses that “this technology will gradually be implemented throughout the financial sector”. The validation of new firms such as ERIR suggests the beginning of a new era in financial services.

For companies like Dianelum, tokenization democratizes access. For Spain, it marks its positioning as a European benchmark in regulated financial blockchain.
